This XR Quad/Nano Cortex pack was captured from our 90's Vox AC30 6TB 2x12 with Blue Alnico speakers. This amp, loaded with it's classic Blue Alnico Celestions, embodies that unmistakable bell-like chime, clarity, and grit that Vox amps are famous for. This pack offers extremely accurate tones when compared to the real-life amp. We captured the entire gain range of this amp at all of the key points where it’s breakup, drive, and compression characteristics shift. The level of breakup/gain is represented by the number in the capture name: Clean (1), Edge of Breakup (2), Breakup (3), Driven (4), Driven + (5), Driven ++ (6).
We are bringing new life into our captures by utilizing our XR (EXTREME REALISM) studio processes, as used in our XR IR packs, to further enhance our captures. With each pack, you will get raw and studio-refined captures that deliver exceptional feel, clarity, and tone across all gain variants.
