This XR Quad/Nano Cortex pack was captured from our Benson Chimera loaded with Benson Custom Ceramic Speakers and features our signature XR processing to give you raw and studio-refined captures that deliver exceptional feel, clarity, and tone across all gain variants. This is David's Chimera that he has toured and recorded with for years, often pairing in stereo with his AC30 with G12M Greenbacks. This pack offers extremely accurate tones when compared to the real-life amp. We captured the entire gain range of this amp at all of the key points where it’s breakup, drive, and compression characteristics shift. The level of breakup/gain is represented by the number in the capture name: Clean (1), Edge of Breakup (2), Breakup (3), Driven (4), Driven + (5), Driven ++ (6).
